Jim Swann, a Tampa native and Brevard County resident since 1973, currently serves as Chairman of the Finance and Audit committee and Past Chairman of the Board for Eckerd Connects. He is Past Chairman of The Florida Nature Conservancy. He presently serves on the board of 1000 Friends of Florida. Jim earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and has served on the boards of numerous organizations including the St. Johns River Water Management District, Eckerd College, the Governor’s Commission on the Future of Florida’s Environment, The Environmental Regulatory Commission, and the Board of Directors for Prime Bank/Colonial Bank, Florida Bank of Commerce, and Sunshine Bank.
DANA KILBORNE | CEO & President
Dana Kilborne is currently the CEO and President of Cypress Bank & Trust, the CEO of Cypress Capital Group and is a director of both companies. In 2004, she founded another Florida based community bank as President and CEO and sold the company in January 2018. Ms. Kilborne has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry in Florida.
She currently serves as a Director of the Federal Reserve Board of Atlanta Bank, Jacksonville Branch, and the corporate board of NCMIC. Dana continues her commitment to the Economic Development Commission of the Space Coast Executive Committee, where she once led as Board Chair.
Ms. Kilborne is past Chair of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, where she was also a volunteer teacher. She has served on the board of several community organizations including the East Coast Zoological Society, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Florida Tech and many other local not for profit institutions. While in South Florida, she served on the Downtown Development Authority of West Palm Beach and Rosarian Academy and was awarded the Orchid Award by the mayor of WPB for her leadership in the community.

MICHAEL J. COLEMAN
Michael J. Coleman is the former chief executive officer of Cape Publications and president and publisher of FLORIDA TODAY.
Mr. Coleman’s background spans decades across the newspaper industry, which began as a reporter in his hometown of Saratoga Springs, New York, and continued as he rose through the ranks to ultimately oversee a number of publications.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Coleman was involved in several U.S. and international professional industry organizations as well as a leader in his community through his work on the Brevard County Civilian/Military Community Relations Council, the Brevard Cultural Alliance, the United Way of Brevard, and the Space Coast Economic Development Commission. He is currently a director of Ron Jon Surf Shop and a trustee of The King Center for The Performing Arts and the Washington, D.C.-based Freedom Forum, which is devoted to fostering First Amendment freedoms for all.
ROBERT GOLDSTEIN
Robert Goldstein is a Wall Street acclaimed financial services professional with established executive experience across the commercial banking and trust services industries.
Mr. Goldstein’s career has been entirely devoted to the banking industry. He has held a variety of roles across commercial banks and savings and loan associations, spanning 20 institutions, 11 states, and roles including chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Most recently, he was a founding Principal in CapGen Financial, a private investment fund that invests in community banks and financial service companies.
Mr. Goldstein maintains board of director roles for several investment organizations, is a member of the executive network of a family of funds in Chicago and was named “Businessperson of the Year” after saving a Connecticut bank from failure. Additionally, he has served as a faculty member of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Mr. Goldstein received a B.B.A. degree from Texas Christian University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was an honor student in the University of Texas program for merit scholars.
TOM HERMANSEN
Tom Hermansen acts as managing partner for several real estate investment entities with interests in commercial real estate in Brevard County. The principal partnerships currently own/operate five hotels. A sixth hotel in Cape Canaveral is currently under construction. Other activities include commercial leasing of owned buildings and residential real estate development.
Tom was a founding director of Prime Bank of Melbourne in 2004 and served on its board through the merger with Florida Bank of Commerce until it later merged with Sunshine Bank in 2016.
Tom is the current Chair of the Brevard County Tourist Development Council. He also serves on the Board of the Cocoa Beach Hotel & Lodging Association and the Board of Trustees for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.
He lives in Merritt Island with his wife Cortney and their two daughters, Sophia, and Vanessa.

John Marino, CPA is the President and Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Capital Group and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Bank & Trust Company.
Mr. Marino has been a certified public accountant (CPA) for more than thirty-five years and has been involved in all aspects of the operations of commercial banks, broker-dealers and trust companies. He has held positions ranging from board member, president, chief executive officer and chief financial officer of various public and private financial companies based in Florida.
Mr. Marino has served on a number of philanthropic boards including Chairman of Hospice of Palm Beach County and President of Lake Worth Christian School.
He received his B.B.A degree with a major in accounting and minor in computer science from Stetson University.
JOHN COLE OLIVER
John Cole Oliver is an equity partner in the law firm of Rossway Swan Tierney Barry Lacey & Oliver, representing clients in the Melbourne area with a concentration on real estate land use matters, commercial transactions, and commercial litigation. Additionally, Mr. Oliver earned his J.D. degree from the University of Florida, graduating magna cum laude and serving as the Editor in Chief of the Florida Law review. Prior to beginning in private practice, Mr. Oliver served as a federal law clerk to The Honorable John Antoon, II, United States District Court Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Oliver remains an active member of the Brevard County community, currently serving as the immediate past President of the Brevard Zoo and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and Economic Development Council for Brevard. Previously, Mr. Oliver served on the Brevard County Charter Review Commission.
He received his B.A. degree from Washington & Lee University as a history major and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Louisiana State University.
JOHN E. TRANTER
John E. Tranter has over 40 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry and has served as a passionate advocate for the industry through his role as Chairman of the Florida Bankers Association, one of the largest state banking associations in the country. He has held leadership roles with the Florida Bankers Association, BancServ, and the Independent Bankers Bank of Florida.
John began his career at First Bank & Trust of Palm Beach County, which later became part of Barnett Bank. He held various management and executive management positions with the bank after the merger with Nations Bank 1998. John left Nations Bank to become the founder and organizer of Gulfstream Business Bank, a de novo community bank that grew to over $650 million in assets in 10 years. As Vice Chairman and CEO of Gulfstream, he managed “de novo” process, including the start-up capital of over $16 million. In addition to his strategic and leadership roles he managed the eventual merger of the bank into CenterState Bank in 2014, assuming the role of Chief Banking Officer of the combined organization.
John holds a BSBA in banking and finance from the University of Florida, and he is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University, the Graduate School of Commercial Lending at the University of Oklahoma, and the National School of Real Estate Finance at Ohio State University.

Dr. Wayne Wolfson is President of NCMIC Group, Inc. and National Chiropractic Mutual Holding Company. He has served in various leadership positions, being past chairman of the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine, director of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and past president of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards.
Dr. Wolfson was named Florida Chiropractor of the Year in 2002 by the Florida Chiropractic Association and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine in 2005.
Active in his community, Dr. Wolfson is the past chairman of the Orlando Chamber of Commerce, was a founding board member and shareholder of the Florida Bank of Commerce and previously served on the Board of Trustees at Valencia Community College. He has practiced chiropractic in Central Florida since 1978.
He received his undergraduate degree from University of Tennessee where he now serves on the College of Arts and Sciences, Dean’s Advisory Board and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Mark Fore, Senior Fiduciary Officer and Senior Vice President, has 25 years of experience in the private practice of law, the last 18 of which with Gray Robinson, P.A., in its Lakeland office. Prior to joining Cypress, Mark’s practice focused on the preparation and implementation of estate planning documents, including wills and trusts, probate, trust and guardianship administration, as well as dispute resolution and litigation matters in these practice areas. He is admitted to the Florida and Georgia Bars, and is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section, and the Elder Law section of the Florida Bar. Mark has previously served as volunteer guardian ad litem for the 10th Judicial Circuit Court. He is also an active member and former president of both the Lakeland Rotary Club and the Lakeland Bar Association. Mark has an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and earned his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.

Brian Skarbek, Senior Investment Officer and Senior Vice President has been an invaluable Cypress Bank & Trust team member since 2004. With a wealth of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Skarbek oversees the Cypress investment process and leads the investment team.
Starting his career with Barnett Securities in 1995, Brian quickly established himself as a talented professional. He later joined Harris Bank in Sarasota as a Portfolio Manager and Investment Officer, further honing his skills and expertise. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, focusing on Finance, from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.
Beyond his impressive professional achievements, Brian is equally dedicated to positively impacting his community.
