After 35 years in the trust investment business, I was ready to retire in 2006. Then I received a call from Charlie Frankel, a former co-worker and office manager who I worked with at another institution. He indicated that he and other former co-workers were joining the team at Cypress Bank & Trust and asked if I would be willing to join them. I chose to do so and never looked back. After another 15 years, I finally retired in 2021. Cypress Trust kindly let me continue to work from home for 10 of those years as I moved to central Florida. This allowed me to maintain and continue to serve the many clients that stayed with me.There were several management changes over my years of employment, but when Dana Kilborne took over as CEO and President of Cypress Capital Group, it was encouraging to know the company was moving into a positive direction. This gave me the confidence that my clients would be in good hands as I transitioned to full retirement transferring my long-standing clients to existing qualified investment team members. Cypress Capital Group is on a new path for success and I am honored to be a part of their history.
